About Me

Ade Bayu:

My friends usually call me ‘Ade’. I am originally from Nganjuk, East Java, Indonesia, a place with mountains and rice fields. I was born in Nganjuk too, where I lived until I graduated from my senior high school. I later went to Bandung, West Java to complete my undergraduate study. Of course I can’t consciously remember anything from the first two or three years of my life after birth. But facts are available when direct memory fails for many circumstances. Currently, I work as field engineer in one of Oil&Gas Services Company.

I’m interested in everything, but my chief interest is in intersection between advanced technology and energy. I’m also very interested in music and poem. I write several poems for my own collection to fulfill my passion for expressing my own feeling. Sometimes, I try to arrange a music, but I know this is not my skill ^_^

I often enjoy my spare time alone, going to several places, trying a new local food (not junk food), playing a real time strategy PC game, shopping, etc. But, sometimes, I hang out with my friends too. My friends generally think of me as a kind person, always smile in many condition an quite patient. But sometimes they call me stubborn, especially when they debate with me. But I’m not that stubborn if I know that I’m wrong. I like to have a lot of friends.

I’m not some kind of activist. I may write about controversial issues but I don’t protest in the street. I believe, there are another ways to solve problems more elegantly.
